1. Who Controls Your Data

This policy applies to all personal data we collect via touchline.53group.ng and its associated forms and services.

2. What Data We Collect

Team Registration Data

When a team registers, we collect: team name, captain's full name, captain's email address, captain's phone number, squad size, player names and ages, and how the captain heard about Touchline.

Contact Form Data

When you submit a contact enquiry, we collect: your name, email address, enquiry type, and the content of your message.

Ticket Notification Data

When you sign up to be notified about tickets, we collect your email address only.

Payment Data

Once Paystack is live, ticket and registration payments will be processed by Paystack. 53 Group Nigeria does not store card details or bank credentials. Paystack's own privacy policy applies to payment processing.

Analytics Data

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use this website. This collects anonymised data including pages visited, time on site, device type, and approximate geographic location. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics.

3. Why We Collect It (Lawful Basis)

• Team registration data: contract performance - to register your team and run the tournament.
• Contact form data: legitimate interest - to respond to your enquiry.
• Ticket notification data: consent - you have asked us to email you when tickets go live.
• Payment data: contract performance - to fulfil your purchase.
• Analytics data: legitimate interest - to improve the website and understand our audience.

4. How Long We Keep It

• Team registration data: until the end of the relevant Touchline edition plus 12 months.
• Contact enquiries: 24 months from the date of enquiry.
• Ticket notification emails: until you unsubscribe or until 12 months after the event you signed up for, whichever is sooner.
• Analytics data: per Google Analytics' default retention settings (currently 14 months).

5. Who We Share It With

We share data only with the service providers required to run this website and the tournament:

• Paystack - payment processing (once live)
• Google - website analytics (Google Analytics 4)
• Netlify - website hosting

We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
• request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations);
• object to processing or withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis;
• request data portability where applicable.

7. NDPR Compliance

The Nigerian Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019 applies to this website as Touchline operates in Nigeria. If we process the data of 1,000 or more individuals in a calendar year, 53 Group Nigeria will register as a data controller with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) as required.
